Respiratory License Renewal – New Hampshire

When does my license expire?

Beginning on July 15, 2023, licenses issued will expire two years from the date of issuance (Reference: RSA 310:8 License Renewals).

When can I renew my license?

Applicants shall submit completed applications for renewal, the renewal fee, and any supporting documents required for that renewal on or before the last day in the month of renewal. Licenses shall lapse when completed renewal applications, renewal fee, and supporting documents have not been filed by the last day in the month of renewal, and the holders of a lapsed license are not authorized to practice until the licenses have been reinstated.

How do I renew my license?

Notifications for renewal are typically emailed two times prior to the license expiration date. An expired notice will also be emailed 30 days after the expiration date. The email address used for setting up your account will receive the renewal notifications.

How much continuing education does New Hampshire require?

Effective December 28, 2023, Plc 1507.04 Continuing Professional Competence Requirements states that New Hampshire requires 12 hours of continuing education completed within the last 2 years.

Can I get all of my continuing education online?

Yes, you can obtain all of your continuing education online. You can take any combination of our Real-Time Live Broadcast courses and/or our non-traditional Self-Directed courses (available 24/7). Our Self-Directed courses are the quickest and easiest choice as they are always available.

If you take a Recorded Live Credit course, which is not accepted by New Hampshire, be aware your certificate for a Recorded Live Credit course reads Live because the course was approved by the AARC as a live course. However, when reporting your courses to CE Broker, Recorded Live Credit courses are listed as Anytime instead of Live courses because that is how New Hampshire views these courses.

Are your courses approved by both the AARC and the Respiratory Care Practitioners Governing Board (RCPGB)?

Our courses are approved for CRCE by the AARC and accepted by the RCPGB.

How much does my renewal cost?

License renewal is $110. An initial license is $170.Resource Links
