The Continuing Education menu at the top of the site is your main hub for finding available courses and schedules.
To get started, go to Continuing Education > Discounts to see our best deal - the Annual CE Subscription for $99/year. This gives you unlimited access to all of our AARC approved courses for 365 days from purchase.
Just want to try one class? We offer one free Recorded Live Credit course daily at 8 AM Central - Hemoglobin Abnormalities. Before taking it, check your State CE Requirements to confirm whether it's accepted as "live".
Non-Traditional (Self-Directed) Courses
- Available 24/7 to take anytime.
- Accepted by all state boards for a portion of an RT's CE requirements.
- See our State CE Requirements page to confirm how many self-directed hours your state allows.
- Watch all lessons, complete the evaluation and post-test (which you can re-take as many times as necessary), and earn your certificate.
Real-Time Live Broadcast (Traditional)
- Live Zoom classes - no test required.
- Check the Live Broadcast Schedule to register.
- After the broadcast ends, you'll have 30 minutes to complete the evaluation and receive your certificate.
- If anything goes wrong, we'll help ensure all paid attendees receive their certificates.
Recorded Live Credit (Traditional)
- Meets AARC's Provider-Directed rules - no test required.
- Offered on rotating schedules (A-J); only one schedule is open at a time.
- Courses open and close at the times listed on the schedule. Make sure to reference your correct time zone.
- To find a course:
- Go to Continuing Education > Today's Recorded Live Credit Course Schedule
- If purchasing individually, click the Purchase Course (Non-Subscribers) link to the right of the course title. If you are a subscriber, skip this step.
- When the course opens at the time listed on the schedule, click the course title on the schedule, then click "Lesson 1 Instructions: Start This Lesson" to begin.
- Users in Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Kansas, Missouri, New Hampshire, & Tennessee licensees should click here prior to taking any recorded live credit courses, as they may not be accepted as "live" in your state.
- Go to the Continuing Education menu and select the type of course you would like to take from the dropdown.
- Click on the course title.
- Scroll down and click "Lesson 1 Instructions: Start this Lesson".
- After watching the video, click the green Mark Complete button beneath it to unlock the next lesson.
- Complete all lessons and submit the evaluation.
- For Self-Directed courses, pass the post-test (you can retake it as many times as needed)
- After submitting, click Print Your Certificate on the course page or go to Account > Certificates to access it later.
If you leave a Recorded Live Credit course in progress, or it closes before you finish, return when it reopens - your progress will be saved if you marked lessons complete. To see when your course will be open again, visit the Locate Your Recorded Live Credit Course page.
Desktop Computer Instructions:
- Go to Continuing Education > Real-Time Live Broadcast, or click the blue VIEW SCHEDULE button on our home page to view the Real-Time Live Broadcast schedule.
- Scroll down to view our Real-Time Live Broadcast schedule.
- To join a Zoom meeting, click the "Join Zoom Class" link to the right of the course title. You do not need a Zoom account to join the meeting.
- At the end of the class, the course evaluation will become available. Click on the "Open Evaluation" link to the right of the Zoom meeting link. The evaluation must be completed within 30 minutes following the meeting.
- Your certificate is immediately available after you submit your evaluation. Go to Account > Certificates, find the course you took (completed courses will be listed at the top of this page and will have a check mark inside a green circle) and click on "Print Your Certificate" to the right of the course title. Completed courses are listed in chronological order along with the completion date, with your most recent course at the bottom of the list. You may print your certificate and/or save it to your computer, USB drive, the cloud, etc.
Mobile Instructions:

We complete all reporting to the AARC and CE Broker on your behalf. If you have new or additional licenses that you did not submit when you created your account originally, please reach out to us using our web chat or Contact Us form so we can update our back end reporting databases.
AARC Reporting: Per the AARC guidelines we report every course taken by our users. This is done each month for the courses taken the previous month. The AARC states it can take up to 30 days for this data to appear on their website. If you are an AARC member the AARC will report your courses to the NBRC automatically. The AARC number is 972-243-2272 in case you need to contact them directly. Click here to see the dates your courses were reported to the AARC.
CE Broker: For our users who are licensed as RTs in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, we report the courses taken by users with active (non-expired) licenses to CE Broker the following day. Users in Mississippi and North Carolina are no longer required to use CE Broker.
